How HelloYaar handles data.

Information We Collect

• Account and profile data: name, username, unique ID, phone number or email where used, profile photo, gender, age or date of birth where requested, country, language, bio, interests, photos, videos, identity proof details for host verification, login provider identifiers, and account settings.
• Communication data: chat messages, images, voice messages, call metadata, live comments, gift activity, follow/follower activity, block/report records, and support messages.
• Media and camera/audio data: photos, videos, voice recordings, microphone audio, and camera video when you choose to record, upload, stream, call, or verify yourself.
• Payment and transaction data: coin purchases, VIP plans, in-app purchases, payment status, wallet and withdrawal history, order identifiers, and payment provider references.
• Device, app, and usage data: device identifiers, IP address, app version, operating system, network status, notification token, crash or diagnostic information, feature usage, timestamps, and security logs.
• Location-related data: country or region chosen by the user or inferred from profile, phone country code, IP address, or payment/sign-in context. The Android manifest found in this project does not request precise GPS location permission.

Permissions We Request

• Internet: to connect to the HelloYaar server, Firebase, real-time sockets, calls, payments, media, and notifications.
• Camera: for video calls, live streams, profile media, host camera use, and verification flows.
• Microphone and audio settings: for voice messages, audio calls, video calls, live streaming, mute/unmute controls, speaker routing, and call quality.
• Network and Wi-Fi state: to detect connection availability and improve streaming, call, and upload behavior.
• Foreground service and wake lock: to keep active calls, live rooms, ringtone behavior, and notifications working while the app is in use or the screen state changes.
• Notifications: to send call alerts, chat updates, live activity, account notices, rewards, and service messages.
• Vibration: for call alerts, notifications, and in-app feedback.
• Photos, media, and files where prompted: to select, upload, preview, or save images, videos, voice notes, and verification files. The exact Android prompt can vary by device version.

Use, Sharing, and Retention

We use information to run accounts, authentication, profiles, calls, chat, live rooms, payments, rewards, moderation, support, security, diagnostics, and product improvements.

We do not sell personal information. We may share data with service providers needed to run HelloYaar, including cloud hosting, database and storage providers, Firebase, push notification services, Agora or real-time audio/video providers, analytics or diagnostics providers, payment providers, Google or Apple sign-in providers, and legal or safety authorities when required.

We retain data while your account is active and as needed to provide services, resolve disputes, meet legal or accounting duties, prevent abuse, and maintain safety logs. Some data may remain in backups or transaction records for a limited period after deletion.

Your Choices and Rights

• You can update profile information and notification settings in the app where available.
• You can deny optional permissions, but camera, microphone, media, and notification features may stop working.
• You can request account deletion, data access, correction, or deletion by contacting support.
• You can block or report users from inside the app.

Children and Changes

HelloYaar is not intended for children below the minimum age required by applicable law or Google Play policy. If we learn that a child has provided personal information without required consent, we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy when app features, permissions, SDKs, legal requirements, or Google Play declarations change.
